At Weirwood Reservoir a Wood Sandpiper on the north bank at the dam end

A Night Heron flushed early morning from willows near the viewpoint at Castle Water headed across the nearby fields towards the Narrow Pit. Also a Great White Egret flew from the Narrow Pit to Castle Water late morning.
A Wood Warbler at Wildpark LNR also a White Wagtail on Hollingbury Golf Course
4 Long tailed Ducks offshore at Climping

A female Ferruginous Duck at the west end of Weirwood Reservoir with Pochard though elusive. No sign of the Ferruginous Duck mid morning to mid afternoon. Also 3 Mediterranean Gulls early morning only.

At Chichester Gravel Pits (Drayton) this morning there were 3 Green and 5 Common Sandpipers, 120 Lapwing and a single Oystercatcher. A female Gadwall with 7 young was noted, also 4 pairs of Little Grebe with young, 10 Sand Martins and a Hobby
